Filing Fee FAQs
When is my filing fee due? You can pay your county's required filing fee at any time - just remember, we can't file your documents until the filing fee is paid in full. Need to apply for financing? Affirm is available as an option.
What is my filing fee? Using the "Pay Your Filing Fee" form to the right, enter your county and service and click "Get Filing Fee". Once your fee is displayed, a button will appear to pay the full amount now or apply to finance the fee through Affirm. It's that easy!
Are there additional fees? Gavvl Law adds an additional $25.00 to a county's quoted filing fee to cover ancillary costs associated fees. If a county requires cash only or in-person filing, Gavvl adds an additional $50.00 to the quoted fee.
What if there is no filing fee? While we strive to stay up-to-date regarding the court's filing fees, they are subject to change without notice. If your filing fee is found to be different than what was quoted and paid (either more or less) we will promptly inform you.
